About the Town Christmas Tree
In 2019, the town decided to plant a live Evergreen tree in honor of Billy Bounds. Billy Bounds served as the only public works staff of Shady Shores for many years. The "Billy Bounds" Christmas Tree was the first tree to begin a possible memorial tree and garden space next to Town Hall. This was also our first public tree planted as a Tree City.
Prior to 2019, the Town Christmas Tree had been provided by Tom and Cindy Spencer courtesy of their tree farm located here in Shady Shores.
